Now, it arrives in a striking new finish designed to bring fresh inspiration to any creative space.
Compact, powerful, and engineered for serious work, the Linear White Footprint®03 departs from the traditional sealed cabinet approach with a fast-transient ported design, achieving impressive low-end extension while maintaining Barefoot’s renowned standards for cabinet integrity and acoustic performance. The cabinet features a premium satin white finish meticulously applied to a dense MDF enclosure. Its rigid construction, advanced assembly techniques, and substantial weight help minimize unwanted resonance and vibration for an uncompromising listening experience. Gear that inspires. At the heart of the Linear White Footprint®03 is a precision-engineered driver complement featuring a 1-inch ring radiator tweeter, a 3.5-inch aluminum cone midrange driver, and a forward-facing 6.5-inch aluminum cone woofer. Advanced magnet and motor systems, copper shorting rings, and enhanced thermal management work together to reduce distortion, increase excursion capability, and ensure reliable performance during long sessions.
The breakthrough addition of SPOC™ (Spectrally Optimized Conversion) technology, combined with Barefoot’s powerful DSP platform, further elevates performance with greater resolution, lower latency, and optimized frequency response. Barefoot’s MEME™ Technology adds another layer of versatility, offering multiple monitor voicings from a single pair of speakers. The result is a compact studio monitor with the clarity, depth, and translation Barefoot is known for, now available in an inspiring new white finish.
DESIGN
The goal at Barefoot Sound has always been to push the design limits of what is possible in a compact studio monitor. The Linear White Footprint®03 is no exception; we are proud to introduce many new innovations in this model as well.
Ported
Barefoot Sound, known for its sealed cabinets, proves its versatility with the introduction of a side-firing ported speaker design. Embracing this fast transient bass reflex system, they achieve remarkable low-end extension while maintaining Barefoot’s renowned standards in cabinet construction, comparable to their other acclaimed sealed cabinet designs.
Cabinet
The cabinet boasts an inspiring Linear White finish. This finish utilizes an unsaturated polyester resin coating with a high-gloss surface, precision-applied to a dense Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) enclosure for durability, consistency, and visual refinement. Employing stress-assembly techniques to enhance stability and damping, the cabinet is built to the exceptional standards found in all Barefoot monitors. Its substantial weight further helps reduce unwanted cabinet vibrations.
Mounting
Achieving the optimal multi-channel studio setup is effortless with Linear White Footprint®03 monitors, thanks to their seamless integration with premium mounting solutions from Triad-Orbit or König & Meyer. These monitors, ideal for compact Atmos mixing rooms, provide unparalleled audio precision and quality, enhancing the acoustic experience in smaller studios while ensuring easy and versatile installation.
